 Principles

The Compassionate Curriculum principles embody beliefs about what is important in life. They should underpin all school decision making- nationally and locally.

Compassion
(for self, other humans and all sentient beings)
Being scientific
(open inquiry, truth without fear, inclusiveness and connection, sharing and reflection )
Embracing civics
(the conservation of sustaining potential, including that of the self, languages, communities, minerals and ecology)

Guiding Principle from the Conservation of Energy Principle

A symbol used in acceptance of the reality of the continuous, universal change tends to generate true hope and harmony with all whereas that symbol used in denial of this universal reality tends to generate delusional hope and dissonance.
